Nueva Andalucia Golf

It is well known that the Costa del Sol is also known as Costa del Golf. This is hardly surprising as it has over 60 golf courses stretching from Malaga to Sotogrande and 3 of these top quality golf courses can be found in a small area of Marbella, aptly named “The Golf Valley” by locals, Nueva Andalucía.

The open areas are dominated by the golf courses at Las Brisas, Aloha, Los Naranjos and La Quinta, all with clubhouse facilities.

The area is green and with the majority of the properties being detached villas, along with apartments and townhouses.

Numerous international tournaments such as the Spanish Open, World Golf Cup, King and Queen’s International Cup, and Nations’ Cup have been played in the Golf Valley but far from being only about golf, the valley is home to other great sports facilities including a multisports centre, tennis courts and gymnasiums, as well as a superb variety of restaurants featuring different cuisines and dining styles.

Thanks to its elevated position, many properties in the Golf Valley benefit from commanding views across golf fairways and over to the Mediterranean or across to Marbella’s iconic La Concha mountain. Since the first properties were built in the 70s, architectural styles have become more and more varied and this is wonderfully reflected in Nueva Andalucía properties, where traditional cortijo estates share boundaries with contemporary villas flooded with light thanks to their glass-centric design.
